Stoke-On-Trent's Data Driven Logistics Calls for Entries to IT Industry Award
Data Driven Logistics is urging local technology companies to follow in its footsteps and enter the 5th ICT Excellence Awards sponsored by the Advantage West Midlands ICT Cluster. The awards honour the best technology companies region wide, and with an abundance of local talent in Stoke-On-Trent, the area has a good chance of success.
Data Driven Logistics was honoured in the 2008 awards where the company received the Best Innovative Product Award for its product Canditv and in the 2007 awards for its PenPOD product which captures proof of delivery without using handheld devices. The company’s Canditv also went on to win a British Computer Society award. It uses internet and mobile phone technology to provide information to consumers simply and cost-effectively when out of the home; whilst providing feedback to the service providers on user interests.
